Coopworth on Bruny Island, Tasmania is a contemporary reinterpretation of a rural farmhouse. Its compact footprint preserves arable land while offering generous, well-planned interiors. Designed for two main occupants, it can flexibly host family and friends through inventive verandah sleepouts and caravan-style bunk beds. Frameless windows extend to the edges, capturing panoramic views of water, mountains, and weather. This creates a living experience that immerses residents in the beauty and raw power of the island’s changing climate while maintaining a strong sense of shelter and connection to the land.
