Project profile
A clear distinction between old and new was the central concept behind the V house, a modest contemporary addition to a Victorian era home in Mosman. Set on a level site, the external facades of the original single-storey cottage were left untouched, respectfully maintaining the existing streetscape. The transition into the new extension is simple and subtle, delineated by a glazed roof which intentionally separates the two halves of the dwelling.
