N house
Project profile
The N house is a renovation and extension of an existing single-storey dwelling on a deep, north-facing site with expansive valley views. The original home was constructed towards the northern end of the block, with the garage and pedestrian access located at the southern street side. A large, “park-like” open space, designed by Secret Gardens, spans between the two; however, the existing house turned instead to a pool area to the north, leaving the potential connection to the expansive southern garden unexploited.
