Project Profile
Wooadang is a three-storey single-family house in Bora-dong, Yongin, South Korea, designed by Atelier SOW and completed in 2022. The house has a gross floor area of 195.83 square metres.
Bordering woodland to the north, the house uses large living-room windows to frame views of the trees, while a south-facing kitchen window brings in daylight. Visual connections between spaces respond to both adults’ and children’s eye levels, supporting the family’s shared experience of the home.
A timber structure and pitched roof give the house its form. A ground-floor porch and a third-floor terrace create opportunities for outdoor activities, connecting daily life inside with the surrounding landscape.
